J. K. Rowling
J. K. Rowling was a struggling single mother when she started to write Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. She started writing it on scraps of paper in a café. (Inside of back cover). "J.K. Rowling first had the idea for Harry Potter while delayed on a train travelling from Manchester to London King’s Cross in 1990. Over the next five years, she began to plan out the seven books of the series." The author, J. K. Rowling made up a wizard game for the book, it is called Quidditch, this is a game played on broomsticks and there are 4 balls, the quaffle, the ball used to score, 2 blunders they try to knock you off your broom, and the snitch if you catch this ball you automatically win, she said she based this game off basketball because you have to score through hoops.(http://www.harrypotter.bloomsbury.com/uk/jk-rowling-biography/). J. K. Rowling, the author, puts a little bit of herself in all different characters there is a little bit of her in every character that she creates. I think she most thinks of herself as Harry Potter because he is the main character and a hero, and everyone wants to be a hero. He lives with the Dursleys in a coat closet under the stairs and he is bullied by his cousin, Duley. I think this shows that it's part of J. K. Rowling because while she is writing this book she is struggling. She shows herself in Hagrid too, Hagrid is like a fatherly figure to Harry, and Ron while they are at school at Hogwarts School of Magic. The author, J. K. Rowling is a mother, I think she puts that caring side into Hagrid. She puts a lot of herself into Hermione Granger, Hermione is a nerd she reads a lot and is very smart. Hermione is the brains out of her friends, Harry Potter, and Ron Wesley. J. K. Rowling puts herself into Hermione by, she used to read a lot and was very smart, she wrote her first book when she was 6, it was about a rabbit named rabbit.
